Project assessment by government, companies, organizations, and citizen’s evaluation/inputs are positive measures for continuity of people’s oriented programmes and activities.

To this end, consultants to ACTIONAID Nigeria on Wednesday the 11th of July 2018 paid a working visit to the State Headquarters of National Orientation Agency, Lagos Directorate in Ikeja for a chat with the Director, Mr. Waheed Ishola on impact assessment of a joint partnership programme with Strengthening Citizens Engagement in Electoral Process (SCEEP). A project implemented in Lagos by the International Press Centre (IPC), Lagos with the support of ACTIONAID Nigeria.

Having satisfactorily answered various questions, the Director used the occasion to commend the organizers for a well thought-out project for citizens engagement, especially in the area of citizens rights, voter education and voter apathy. He observed that in as much as the project was successful, it would make much greater impact if it can be decentralized and taken across the 20 local government areas of the state.

Team leader, Miss Esther Cobham thanked the Director for granting them the audience despite the short notice and the tight schedule of the Director’s work.
