National Orientation Agency (NOA) Bauchi State has charged the various communities in the State to provide conducive atmosphere to Corps members posted to the State to enable them discharge their primary responsibilities.
The state Director of the Agency Alhaji Nuru Yusuf Kobi gave the charge while addressing corps members posted to the state held at NYSC Orientation camp Wailo.
Alhaji Nuru Kobi who recalled that National Youth Service Corps was introduced to foster Unity and understanding among various ethic groups in Nigeria and to encourage corps members to effectively integrate into any cultural setting.
Alhaji Nuru Kobi said since the inception of the scheme to date, a lot has been achieved in terms of national Unity and integration, while on the part of the corps in particular they have acquired rewarding experiences and education which shall be of immense benefits to their future struggles in life. He urged the corps members to work towards ensuring mutual understanding among Nigerians.
He also enjoined them to fuse into the community they find themselves and fully participate in community development project by addressing the challenges facing their host.
Alhaji Nuru Kobi appealed to the people to always support corps members when they embark on community development project and warned them against engaging in hate speeches .
The NOA Director therefore, charged the corps members to key into the present administration change mantra for the speedy development of the country.
Some corps members who spoke at the occasion commended the Agency for the lecture and promised to make good used of the knowledge acquired.
