The need for eligible individuals to avail themselves of the opportunity to register for their permanent Voters Card has again been emphasized as INEC continues its Continuous Voters Registration exercise across the nation.
This advice was given by the Acting State Director, National Orientation Agency, Kwara State, Mr Olusegun Adeyemi when he joined the Administrative Secretary of Independent National Electoral Commission in Kwara State Mr Paul Atser and other INEC Management members to monitor the on-going continuous voters’ registration exercise in the six additional centres in Kwara State.
Mr Paul Atser while addressing newsmen noted that the exercise was going on smoothly as over 18,000 voters have been captured and over 1000 PVCs distributed in Kwara. He added that 302 additional registration centres were created across the country and INEC will close the centres on July 27,2017 after which the list of registered voters will be displayed and PVCs printed and distributed hopefully in the 2nd quarter.
