The newly appointed Director-General of NOA has resumed duty today as Acting DG, Mrs. Ngozi Ekeoba handed over affairs of the Agency to him.
Dr. Abari was appointed last week and said he would be glad to work with NOA officers to help government achieve its objectives of good governance to the Nigerian people.
He said NOA’s mandate is captured in the Act establishing the Agency to promote government’s activities, programmes and policies.
Dr. Abari urged NOA officers to support him in his quest to galvanise Nigerian people for re-orientation and attitudinal change which he said had been the bane behind most of our problems as a nation.
He commended the Acting DG, Mrs. Ngozi Ekeoba for her efforts to run the affairs of the Agency in the last couple of months.
Earlier, Ekeoba had congratulated the new DG NOA, and briefed him of the activities of the Agency in the past.
She thanked her colleagues whom she described as supportive and cooperative during her days as Acting DG since February 15, 2016.
