The Director-General of National Orientation Agency ( NOA) ,Garba Abari has paid a courtesy visit to Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, while assuring the paramount ruler of NOA’s ability to sustain security awareness campaign.
Abari noted that North-East part of Nigeria has had a greater share of activities of insurgents, saying Federal Government had showed genuine commitment to end insecurity.
NOA boss asked the general public to be supportive of the current fight against terrorism. He admonished them to provide useful information to security agencies.
He commended the role of Shehu of Borno for his support towards FG’s initiative on IDPs camps across the Noth-East, while assuring the traditional ruler that all displaced persons will be properly integrated back to the society.
On his part, Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Garbai El-Kanemi thanked NOA for its role in awareness campaign which he said had made his people armed with necessary security tips.
