The Director, Department of State Services (DSS), Lagos State Command has commended the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Lagos State Director on its sensitization and grassroot activities on security awareness.
Mr. Kunle Ajanaku gave the commendation during an advocacy visit by the management of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Lagos State to the DSS Headquarters in Lagos. He commended the subtle manner the Community Support Bridge (CSB) arm of NOA has been carrying out their sensitization programmes in the community.
He noted that the visit was timely considering the huge security challenges in the state, which he said availed the Command the needed interaction, synergy and cooperation with NOA in Orientating, sensitizing and mobilizing the civil populace of the state.
Responding, the State Director, Mr. Waheed Ishola thanked the Command for the warm reception accorded the team. He acknowledged that the CSB as the foot soldiers of National Orientation Agency has been well trained on the task of subtle and persuasive means of carrying out their assignment, stressing that it will be nice for the command to look into the area of making good use of CSB as community watchdog in intelligence gathering.
Mr. lshola solicited for a good working relationship between officers of the Command and NOA staff in the various local government areas of the State to achieve the Change mantra of the Federal Government.
