The rate of incessant burning of bush in and around Ondo State, led the national orientation agency to embark on a sensitization programme which their major goal was to educate and inform the populace on the effects of bush burning.

To this effect the NOA COMO Mr Arowofela and other participants took to the streets to educate the farmers and hunters of Akoko north-west local government on the adverse effects of bush burning. The sensitization programme was held at the Ajowa Town Hall Akoko was held on the 23rd of January 2017.

The programme which had some important dignitaries in attendance, offered some interesting and necessary package about the dangers of bush burning some of which include; it reduces soil moisture content, destruction of wild life, it destroys soil fertility among host of others.

The programme ended as a successful work day for the COMO and the National orientation agency as a whole.
