This edition of Federal Government #FGTownHallMeeting on ‘Protecting Oil and Gas Infrastructure in Nigeria’ is coming at a time that FG is experiencing revenue difficulties.
Vandals, agitators and armed groups have over the years attacked oil and gas facilities for different reasons ranging from genuine agitations and for criminality. These acts have impacted so much on the country’s lean revenue base.
Present at the event were Hon. Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Hon. Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, Group Managing Director (GMD) of NNPC, Mele Kyari, CEOs of various parastatls of FMIC, members of the National Assembly and host of other dignitaries.
