NPC/NOA meets to strategize

The purpose of the visit was to deepen collaborative ties between the two agencies and to kickstart the sensitization aspect of the census across the country. As a stakeholder, NOA will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the census, and this visit marks an important step towards achieving this goal.
NPC and NOA Collaborate with Bloggers to Raise Awareness for 2023 Nigerian Census
The Nigerian government is making concerted efforts to ensure the success of the 2023 national population and housing census. To this end, the National Population Commission (NPC) and the National Orientation Agency (NOA) collaborated to host a one-day interactive session with bloggers and social media influencers. The session sensitized and raisd awareness about the census, which is digital in nature and focused on housing and population. The NPC has invested considerable time and resources in planning for the census to ensure its accuracy and credibility. The workshop provided an opportunity to engage with the media. With the participation of various resource persons, including social media strategists and special assistants to the President, this workshop is another strategic communication strategy aimed at letting Nigeria be aware of the forthcoming census.
