The Lagos Zonal Coordinator, National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Mrs. Awala Ebijuwa has called on the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Lagos State to partner with the Scheme for effective government mobilization.

Mrs. Ebijuwa made this assertion during an advocacy visit by Management of NHIS, Lagos Zone to the State Headquarters of National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Ikeja, Lagos.

She noted that the visit was a follow-up to the joint retreat of the two Federal Agencies coupled with the cooperation her Zone has received from NOA Lagos in the recently held” Change begins with me” programme at Ikorodu LGA secretariat, Headqurters of Lagos East Senatorial District.

The Zonal Coordinator stressed that with NOA in the various local government areas, it is believed that a massive awareness would be created in the grassroot about the programmes and policies of the Scheme for a better Nigeria. Hence, the visit was to seek areas of cooperation and synergy.

In his remarks, the NOA State Director, Mr. Waheed Ishola, commended the Zonal Coordinator for recognizing the role of NOA and deeming it proper to work and partner with the Agency.

Mr. Ishola promised to make available all platforms within the Agency to see that the desired goal is achieved; noting that government is all about the people.

The NHIS management led by the Zonal Coordinator was received by NOA state management: State Director, Mr. Waheed Ishola; The Deputy Director, Programmes, NOA, Mr. Ralpheal Bowot and Deputy Director, Admin/Human Resources, Mr. John Emah.
