In continuation of the National Orientation Agency’s efforts at ensuring the well-being of the general public, the Kwara State Directorate of the Agency is set to collaborate with ‘ITEC Consultancy’ to facilitate the standardization and management of Motor Parks investment, Security, Health lifestyle of the Road Transport Workers and owners.
This was further explained by NOA Kwara state Ag Director when he received Director of ITEC Consultancy firm Abdulwakeel Abdulwahab, who visited NOA office recently. Alh. Abdulwakeel emphasized the organization’s readiness to partner with NOA in view of the Agency’s ability to reach out and mobilize all segments of the society, including the grass roots. He added that the aim of the workshop is to boost the activities of Road transport owners and workers nationwide. According to Alh. Abdulwakeel, Kwara State is slated to play host to Niger and Kogi State in July, 2017 for the workshop. He noted that the programme will provide the desired opportunity for stakeholders in the motor transport sector to brainstorm on how to ensure sanity, safety decorum and quality service on Nigerian roads.
The Ag. State Director of NOA Mr. Olusegun Adeyemi, in his response commended the Two -man team from ITEC Consultancy, he assured them of NOA’s commitment to any genuine programme or activity that will improve the general welfare of the populace, stating that the Agency is ready to work with ITEC in other to curb reckless driving and drugs addiction among the Road transport officials and users .The Director of ITEC , was accompanied to NOA’ s office by the Kwara State coordinator of ITEC Consultancy Alh Balogun.
