While addressing the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN)Borno State Chapter, the Deputy Director of the agency Mallam Jafar Imam emphasis that NIM provide a rebust and universal identification infrastructure for the entire country which will enhance the verification and authentication of citizens and legal residents identities in Nigeria, once NIN is assigned to an individual it can never be reassigned, given or used by another and that makes it unique in nature, so he encourage the leadership to sensitize and mobilize their members to register.
