In furtherance of efforts at promoting National Core Values among youths in #Nigeria, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has commenced activities towards the establishment of the pilot phase of its NYSC NOA-CDS at the Orientation Camp, Kubwa, suburb of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The NOA-CDS is a sub CDS under the NYSC CDS.NYSC NOA-CDS Volunteers would be expected to sensitive secondary school students about National Core Values as enshrined in Chapter 2,Section 23 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (1999 as amended). These values include: Discipline, Integrity, Patriotism, Dignity of Labour, Self-reliance, Social Justice and Religious Tolerance.
The Batch A Corps members were engaged on the core values by the NOA Desk Officer and a member of the NGO, Generation for Societal Change (GSC) with whom the Agency has an existing collaboration.
