The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Garba Abari, has continued to emphasize the importance of traditional institutions in promoting peace and unity in Nigeria. As part of its “Nigeria First” campaign, NOA has been engaging with traditional leaders across the country to promote national cohesion and peaceful coexistence.

In this regard, Mr. Abari recently paid an advocacy visit to the Regent to the Stool of Olu of Ikeja land, Barr. Prince Adekunle Isiaka Apena. The visit is part of NOA’s strategic communication priorities to work closely with traditional leaders, recognizing their role in fostering peace and unity in Nigeria.

NOA’s efforts towards promoting peace and unity in the country are commendable, and it is important that all stakeholders, including traditional leaders, join hands to work towards a more peaceful and united Nigeria. It is hoped that this visit will further strengthen the relationship between NOA and traditional leaders in promoting national cohesion and peaceful coexistence.
