The Director General National Orientation Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, received in audience the Country Director of Search for Common Ground Fatima Abubakar Madaki and her team on a courtesy visit.

Ms. Madaki used the opportunity to brief the DG on the activities of the NGO, which she said is focused on addressing conflicts and freedom of religion and beliefs. She said NOA is a critical partner the NGO would want to work hand in hand with.
In response, the DG expressed appreciation to the organisation for its presence in challenging areas of the country and commended their willingness to work with relevant partners to achieve their objectives. He assured them of the agency’s readiness to collaborate. The DG spoke about the ongoing initiatives in the Agency including the CLHEEAN community projects, the National Values Charter, and the upcoming launch of the agency’s mobile app, “The Mobilizer.”
The DG emphasized the importance of focusing on outcomes in all partnerships under his leadership, stressing the need for clear terms of engagement to ensure effective collaboration. He emphasized the agency’s commitment to achieving tangible results from every partnership while avoiding overextension of resources.
He concluded by encouraging them to adopt the second stanza of the national anthem as the opening prayer for all their official events.
