DG NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu continued his grassroots advocacy tour with a visit to HRM Saidu Akawu Salittu, Ohimege Igu Koton Karfe, in Kogi State. During his visit, he emphasised the importance of cultivating the right attitude to eradicate corruption and highlighted the need to empower youth, who comprise over 70% of Nigeria’s population.

The DG stressed NOA’s mandate to sensitise Nigerians and collaborate with traditional rulers, providing tools like conflict resolution training. He also outlined NOA’s efforts to reorient youths against the “get rich quick” syndrome and promote Nigerian values. HRM Saidu Akawu Salittu commended the DG’s commitment and pledged open-door partnership with NOA.

Continuing the advocacy tour, the Director-General emphasised the importance of national values and attitudinal change, as directed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during a well-attended town-hall meeting involving religious leaders, civil society groups and the press, which was held at the headquarters of the Kogi state directorate. The DG stressed the government’s commitment to character building, urging collaboration for nation-building efforts.
