In order to keep both conventional and digital media abreast of activities of the NOA, the Agency organized a ‘Media Parley’ to articute array of its responses to issues of national importance such as outbreak of #LassaFever, insecurity and Insecurity.

The Agency, having realized that information is very key to curtail spread of #LassaFever, we have embarked on sensitization and awareness campaign through our Outdoor Public Address Van and NOA State directorates.

According to Director-General of the National Orientation Agency, Dr. Garba Abari: “On security, government is very much concerned about protecting citizens in the face of security challenges which I believe is not insurmountable. We as citizens should also play our role by standing with security agencies.”

“As an Agency, we tackle moral decadence through our conventional and didigal engagements. We implore parents to live up to their responsibilities in the face of rising immorality and cultural invasion occasioned by smart devices.” Abari.

On #CoronaVirus he stressed that concerned health authorities like Federal Ministry of Health and National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) are well prepared to tackle it the same way #EbolaVirus was collectively dealt with. NOA still recognizes herioc effort by late Dr. Stella Adadevoh.”

The Monthly Media Parley is aimed at providing opportunities for journalists to engage the Agency on modus operandi and impacts of various campaigns as well as providing a platform for stewardship.
