The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has held its 2022 Edition of National Orientation Agency (NOA) Patriotism Orientation Programme tagged “Fall In Love With Nigeria” with theme: “My Role In Making A Nigeria Of My Dream”.

The yearly event is symbolic as it coincides with global celebration of Valentine’s Day. The Agency leverage the period to promote love for the country and engender patriotism in the citizens. Director- General of the NOA, Dr. Garba Abari, in his opening address, lamented decay in national core values, calling on all stakeholders to redouble efforts to return Nigeria to glory of yesterday which was cherished by all. He thanked the Chairman, ICPC for his support towards organising a successful skit competition for secondary schools on the theme of this year’s edition.

Chairman, Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Prof. Bolaji Oransaye called on school pupils to exhibit high standard behaviour. Earlier, Director, Special Duties and State Operations (SDSO), Mette Edekobi, in her welcome address said the “Integrity Clubs” organized by the NOA in secondary schools meant to instill right attitudes in them.

The highlight of the event witnessed presentation of prizes to winners of the competition focused on production of short skits by secondary schools across Nigeria. The theme of the event was used to produce the skits of which panel of judges and reviewers selected best messages adjudged to have captured patriotism for Nigeria.
