A nongovernmental organization “LEAH FOUNDATION “has commissioned its new home for the less privilege and orphans named “LEAH CHILDREN RECEPTION HOME” in ilorin recently.
The programme which was hosted by the wife of State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed,who is also the founder,Deaconess Omolewa Ahmed said the event was aimed at creating awareness about the primary function of the home and to intimate participants on the need to encourage organizations to partner with newly commissioned home.
The Kwara State Governor,Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed represented by the Secretary to the State government ,Alhaji Isiaka Ishola Gold commended LEAH Foundation for resources committed to the well-being of the less privilege and disadvantage children in the society.
Deaconess Omolewa Ahmed also stated that it vision for “LEAH children Reception Home “is to cartel for the disadvantage children, and orphans in the society.
Guest and dignitaries in attendance commended the foundation for it effort on ophans , disabled and the Less privilege childern in the society.
In attendance, were members of the State Executive Council, CEO of business organizations, HOD PRS Babaijo Adeolu Otepola and HOD Programmes .Pastor Lucas Ige of NOA Kwara State Directorate irector of NOA, Women groups, NGOs and the general public.
