Today, National Orientation Agency (NOA) and the Development Research and Project Centre (DRPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to herald social behavioral change initiative meant to address decay in attitudes for national growth and development.The signing was at the instance of the Director, Public Enlightenment and Mass Mobilization (PEMM), Mrs. Ruth Ogun who represented the Director-General of the Agency.She thanked the DRPC for its interest in NOA to enhance social mobilization initiative, capacity building for NOA staff and to project the NOA’s role as leading government institution in communicating public policies, programmes and activities.Earlier, Project Director DRPC, Dr. Stanley Ukpai said its NGO chaos the NOA for its ability to communicate with Nigerians having been present in all Local Government Areas (LGAs) across the country. He said further that they would leverage on the Agency’s unrivaled spread to ignite new set of norms aimed at #AttitudinalChange.The Agency, had in the past collaborated with host of donor agencies and NGOs to bring about social change in Nigerians leveraging on divine scriptures as guide to effect change through religious leaders.Present during the signing of MoU were Deputy Directors, Mr. Williams Dogo and Mrs Theresa Maduekwe representatives of NOA Legal Department and PEMM respectively.NOA Situation Room
