The Independent National Electoral Commission Oyo State under the leadership of the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Barrister Mutiu Agboke organised Ramadan Lecture, first of its kind in the INEC Oyo.
The REC said the Lecture was organised significantly for the Ramadan period to re-orientate the Staff on the the teachings in the Holy book Quran towards doing the right thing in the discharge of their duties during elections.
The guest Speaker, Professor Hafeez Oladosu from the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies,University of Ibadan expatiated on this and urge the Staff, mostly Mslims of INEC Oyo to discharge their duties with the fear of Allah.
The State Director, NOA Oyo, Mrs Dolapo Dosunmu call on the Staff of INEC to let their conscience be clear, discharge their duties accordingly and desist from any form of irregularities that will tarnish the image of the Commission as all eyes are on them and the future of the Nation depends on them.
Dignitaries at the Ramadan lecture were The Zonal Director, Federal Radio Commission of Nigeria, Alhaji Mohammed Bello, High Chief Bayo Oyero, IPAC Chairman, Alhaji Oyewole and other dignitaries in Oyo State.
