Ahead of a forum which is aimed at providing a veritable platform for stakeholders to meaningfully engage elected public officials nationwide, the Ag. State Director, National Orientation Agency Kwara State, Mr Olusegun Adeyemi alongside members of his management team have paid an official visit to the Local Governmen leadership in Kwara State.
While in the office of the ALGON Chaiman in Ilorin , Alh Isiaka Danmeromun, the NOA  Director explained that the programme which is billed to hold on 
4th April, 2017 in Ilorin the state capital is a collaboration between  Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation and National Orientation Agency and is aimed at promoting transparency and accountability in governance as well as encourage free flow of information between elected government officials and the public.
Mr Olusegun Adeyemi further explained that the programme will create a platform for public education, sensitization and citizens’s awareness of government policies, programmes and activities and the attendance of Transition committee chairperson is very important as they are closer to the grassroots.
In his response, the ALGON Chairman, Alh Isiaka Danmeromun; appreciated the visit of the agency noting that transparency and accountability is a sine qua non. He assured NOA of the attendance of all the TIC Chairperson in the 16 LGAs and expressed the desire of ALGON leadership to further collaborate with KAS.
The forum is expected to be declared open by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Alh. Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed and will have in attendance, representatives of various segments of the society
