The programme was a flag off of the subsequent ones for the elected public officials in Oyo state to give account of stewardship to constituents they represent at the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The opening remarks was delivered by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Soliu Akanmu Adetunji represented by one of his Highest Chiefs. He gave commendations to the National Orientation Agency and its partner Konrad Adenauer Stiftung KAS for organising such laudable programme which will constantly remind the Public officials that they will at a point in time be accountable to electorates and will always want to do what is right and required of them at all times.
The Guest of Honour was the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde. And in attendance were notable dignitaries in Oyo State like the Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC Oyo State, Barrister Mutiu Agboke, Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Debo Ogundoyin, Commissioner of Police Sina Olukolu, the guest lecturer from the University of Ibadan, Department of Arts and Social Science Education, Professor Sunday Olukayode Ajitoni, Station Manager, IBR, Mr Femi Mapaderun, General Manager and Head of News Splash FM Radio, Mr Tunde Olawuwo, Commissioner for Information, Mobilization, Culture and Tourism in Oyo State, Dr Wasiu Olatunbisun, Honourable members from the 9th Assembly and other dignitaries in Oyo State.
