NOA SETS TO PARTNER CHANGE VISION ON ATTITUDINAL CHANGE

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) is set to partner Change Vision Project on the need for Nigerians to deepen the values of change which the President Muhammadu Buhari is promoting by imbibing the right attitude to national building.

Director-General of the Agency, Dr, Garba Abari made this known when a team from the group led by Architect Tunde Imolehin visited the Agency to articulate its eight point strategy for promoting the change agenda of the government.

Abari who expressed sadness at the growing rate of moral decadence in the society said NOA as part of its mandate of propagating government programmes and policies has the responsibility of preventing fake news coming into the public domain adding that institutionalized change requires monitoring but also marching up with actions.

“Though we may not be in the good books of some Nigerians now because of the seeming difficulties associated with institutionalizing change, our intentions are good for the country and that is why we must work to streamline our attitudes with our desires towards growth and progress” he said

According to him, the 2019 election will likely be an endorsement of the  change agenda, urging citizens to take the opportunity of enlightenment programmes as being designed by the NOA to be aware of the efforts of the present administration and weigh between good and evil.

The NOA boss said NOA has the mechanism to disseminate information and get feedbacks which are used in formulating government policies and programmes for national development saying the platform of the Local Government Assembly has proved to be unique in meeting the objectives of government.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of the Change Vision Change Project, Tunde Imolehin said the project is designed to facilitate attitude change and sustainable development in the polity.

Imolehin said the project was also aimed at proactively and positively promoting and projecting veritable agents and destinations of change in the Nigeria state.
