In a bit to intensify rigorous enlightenment campaign on the need for greater security alertness during this period of dislodgement of the dreaded Boko Haram from the heart of Sambisa, the Bauchi State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) had commences public enlightenment campaign calling on the citizenry in the State to be vigilant with people and places around them, especially worship centres, markets, Banks ATM etc.
The campaign was aimed to conscientious the citizens on the dispersed insurgents who escaped been killed or wounded and scattered to various parts of the country, as part of the campaign the directorate had issued Press Releases to both print and electronic Media in the State. The State Acting Director Alhaji Nuru Yusuf Kobi participated in Radio/TV Phoning programmes that includes ” Iya ruwa fidda kai in Radio Nigeria (Globe FM) and ” Zamani Riga, Yau da Gobe, muleka mu gani, flat form in BATV, NTA, NAN, BRC, AIT.
Similarly, presentation on the subject matter was also made during courtesy visit to the Agency by Clubs and Associations, Non Governmental Organisations, traditional and religious leaders. And during public lectures similar presentation were made on the security alertness. All the COMOs in the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State had been direccted to carried out similar programme in their locality.
