The Ondo State Directorate of National Orientation Agency under the leadership of Mr Bode Famose was at the palace of the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom Oba (Dr.) Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, Jilo III to sensitize the Kabiyesi and his chiefs on the need to be security conscious and ensure the safety of the environment and also report suspicious movement and people to security operatives. The event was held on the 13th of February 2017 and started at 4pm. The campaign was on the heels of the occupation of Sambisa Forest by our gallant military and the subsequent dispersal of escapee Boko Haram insurgents into different parts of the Nation including Ondo State. He charged them on the need to be more security conscious being one of the densely populated towns in the state.
The Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo appreciated the Agency for the timely awareness of security campaign programme. He concluded that the programme would re-awaken the spirit of security consciousness in the mind of the masses and prayed for the peace of Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
