On the 23rd February 2017, the Ondo State Directorate of National Orientation Agency was successfully inaugurated at the conference room of the federal secretariat. The event had in attendance the state director, management and staff of the directorate. Other dignitaries include the state chairman of NUJ Comrade James Sowole, and the state secretary Mr. James Adegbite.

The inauguration was done by the state secretary, who read the oath of office and allegiance for the newly elected chairman of the NOA chapel to take and thereafter the other member of the executive.

The chairman of the NOA chapel Mr. Ralph Oguntibeju took to the stand and swore the oath of allegiance and office. Other members took to stand and swore oath of allegiance and oath of office, they include

  1. Mr. Raphael Oguntibeju as President
  2. Mr. ‘Tunde Adeyeye as Secretary
  3. Mrs. Boye Osakuade as Financial Secretary
  4. Mrs. Kemi Taiwo as Treasurer

The inauguration ended with a vote of thanks from the newly elected secretary Mr. Tunde Adeyeye, who in his address appreciated the effort of the NUJ and NOA as a whole and prayed for the success of the chapel.
