The NOA Oyo State Directorate deployed its Community Orientation and Mobilization Officers (COMO) to every nook and cranny of the state including worship centres, markets, among others, even visit to traditional leaders to increase awareness on measures to prevent spread of novel #coronavirus.
NOA COMOs are specialized officers trained to penetrate grassroots with the aid of local dialects and familiarity with community traditions to effectively communicate and engage citizens on issues of national concern.
#COVID19 preventive measures must be taken seriously and this message dominates COMOs interactions with the local people.
The Agency relies on this potent weapon of grassroots penetration to ensure citizens are well acquainted not only with activities of governments but also on issues that concern them.
