The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is an initiative keyed into by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2016. It aims, among others, at exposing corruption; punishing the corrupt and providing support to the victims of corruption; driving out the culture of corruption; ensuring transparency and accountability in governance; encouraging citizens’ participation and responsiveness through technology and innovation.

Nigeria has successfully implemented the First (2017-2019) and Second (2019-2022) National Action Plans. The latter ended in August, 2022, with tremendous progress achieved. The Third National Action Plan (NAP III) has been drafted by the NAP III Development Committee; with NOA’s active participation. The NAP III aims, among others, to strengthen and mainstream transparency and accountability, ensure citizens’ participation in the administration of public resources across all sectors as well as combat corruption.

Currently, the NAP III document is for Public Consultation; whereby Nigerian citizens are expected to Engage, Review and make Inputs in it before its presentation to His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari for approval.

You are requested to log in to the understated OGP Website and make your inputs as may be appropriate, please:
