The Peering Advocacy and Advancement Centre in Africa (PAACA) and the National Orientation Agency (NOA) hosted the second series of Post-2023 General Elections Zonal Town Hall Meeting in Enugu state. The meeting was aimed at promoting national cohesion and unity in Nigeria.

The first series of the town hall meetings was held in Kano state. The meetings are designed to foster dialogue, engagement, and collaboration among stakeholders in the aftermath of the 2023 general elections.

In his address, Comrade Ezenwa Nwagwa, Chairman of PAACA, emphasized the importance of the event. He said that the meetings are an opportunity for stakeholders to come together and discuss ways to promote national unity and cohesion.

Dr. Garba Abari, Director-General of NOA, who was represented by the State Director of NOA in Enugu state, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Calista, also emphasized the need for national unity and cohesion. He said that the meetings are a platform for stakeholders to share ideas and work together to build a better Nigeria.

The event was attended by representatives from political parties, civil society organizations, government agencies, community leaders, media professionals, and other relevant stakeholders. The participants discussed a wide range of issues, including the need for peaceful elections, the importance of tolerance and respect for diversity, and the need to build a more inclusive society.
