Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Dr. Garba Abari has underscored importance of religious leaders in the country to discourage #COVID19 vaccine hesitancy as second phase vaccination is underway across designated centres.
Dr. Abari was speaking at the event organized by the Federal Ministry of Health and National Primary Health Care Development Agency in Collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) titled: Sensitisation of Christian Leaders on Phase 2 #COVID19 Vaccination.
NOA has, from the announcement of the index case by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), commenced aggressive campaign to educate Nigerians about the deadly virus, as well as various safety measures to #StaySafe. The Agency also swung into action to sensitise citizens on the benefits of getting vaccinated against #COVID19.
