NOA in collaboration with Coalition of Societies for the Right of Older Persons in Nigeria (COSROPIN) organized a Community Engagement and Sensitization Campaign on #COVID19 Pandemic. The event is aimed at reminding people to #TakeResponsibility to #StopTheSpread.The event brought together Abuja Market Management, journalists and CSOs to deliberate on ways to #StopTheSpread of the virus.
DG NOA, Dr. Garba Abari was represented by the Director, Documentation, Translation and Publication (DTP), Dr. Aminu Davidson. He commended COSROPIN for its intervention projects targeted at old people in the society as #COVID19 is known to have severe effects on them. He said further that the Agency is at the forefront of the sensitization campaign against #COVID19 pandemic.
Speaking earlier, the Director, Public Enlightenment and Mass Mobilization (PEMM), Mrs. Ruth Ogun thanked invited guests while she implored them to use the platform to engage in robust discussions towards stopping the spread of #COVID19.Representatives of COSROPIN, Alhaji Aliyu expressed appreciation to the Agency for its choice to make their organization worthy for the important gathering.
