The Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Lagos State, Mr. Waheed Ishola has disclosed that Nigeria will experience rapid development politically, socially and economically if people will key into the  “Change Begins with Me” campaign.

Ishola Stated this yesterday at the Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State during a sensitization campaign in Lagos  East Senatorial District on “Change Begins with Me”, organized by the National Orientation Agency (NOA).

The NOA Director noted that because of the collapse of our cherished values such as hardwork, honesty, integrity, discipline, respect for constituted authority, patriotism, love for one another, tolerance etc, the campaign was launched by the present administration.

“Nigeria today is passing through a challenging moment where hardly anything works in a normal manner, and many have attributed this phenomenon to the total breakdown of our core values over the years”.

Ishola opined that if people align their conducts and behavior to Nigerian’s core values as enshrined in the constitution, individually, in their private and public life, the country will  move forward. To this end, we must endeavour to make the principles of our national ethics a way of life both young and old he said.

Speaking further, the Sole Administrator, Ikorodu Local Government Area, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye remarked that the Campaign is apt and most welcomed in our present milieu. He charged the people to take ownership of the Charge for a better society.

Present at the event were: Representatives of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) led by Mrs. Aisha Haruna, Ikeja State Co-ordinator; Superintendent of Police, Opawoye Adetunji; Representatives of Market women, led by Mrs. D.A.
