Executive Members of the Bauchi State Chapter of Muslim and Christian Youths Integration for good leadership initiative have been charged to work towards ensuring religious tolerance and mutual understanding among members of the society regardless of their religious differences as an essential element of peace and development.
The Bauchi State Director, National Orientation Agency(NOA) Alhaji Nuru Yusuf Kobi gave the charge when he received members of the association who paid him a courtesy call in his office. 
Alhaji Nuru Kobi who described formation of the Association as a welcome development, advised them to conduct their activities with high sense of maturity.
Alhaji Nuru Kobi said, a peaceful society is inevitable with religious tolerance, therefore we must learn to accommodate other people with their beliefs and opinions in order to avoid bloodshed based on religious differences. 
“We just have to accept other people’s rights to their own opinions, beliefs, or actions without enforcing them to comply with what differs with their beliefs”. He charged people to discharge their religious activities without interference in others religious beliefs for peaceful coexistence in the society. 
The State NOA Boss assured that he would work in synergy with the Association to ensure peaceful coexistence and unity among members of the society. 
Earlier, the Chairman of the association Mr Friday Achimugu disclosed that they were at the NOAs office to seek for partnership to enable them achieve the set objectives. 
Mr Achimugu said the association was established to ensure peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding among the people regardless of their religious differences.
