Until her retirement, Mrs Ruth Ogun was the Director, Public Enlightenment and Mass Mobilization (PEMM) Department of the Agency. She retired at the age of 60 years having meritoriously served her fatherland.
She rose through the rank to attain the position of a Director in NOA. She will be remembered for giving her best to the Agency in the course of her dedicated career. She instilled virtues of discipline, hard-work and patriotism in officers whom she mentored. She remains a role model to all NOA officers having distinguished herself especially in accomplishing her tasks towards making the Agency achieve its mandate effectively.
While speaking at the send-forth party organised in her honour, she said she could recall her early years in service as a young officer while admonishing NOA officers put in their best to accomplish height of their career.
Encomiums were showered on retired Director by her colleagues who they describe as amazing woman with high team spirit and mentorship.
A short drama was staged to mimick her relationship with immediate staff especially during a given task.
