END OF YEAR PUBLIC LECTURE ORGANISED BY THE HAUSA/ FULANI YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND ORIENTATION FORUM (HAFYDOF) ON 31st DECEMBER 2016 AT MEDICAL AND HEALTH WORKERS UNION OF NIGERIA,  STATE SECRETARIAT.
Youth in the Bauchi State have been called upon to contribute to the development of the Nigerian ailing economy by embracing entrepreneurship as an alternative to the white color job, the call was made by the Bauchi State Acting Director of NOA, Alhaji Nuru Yusuf Kobi while delivering lecture at the end of year gathering of HAFYDOF, a Non Governmental organization that help to train the Hausa/ Fulani youth in enterpreneural skills to take a lead in addressing their job related issues. 
Alh.Nuru Kobi emphasize that the Government of President Mohammad Buhari is increasingly putting youth concerns at the heart of the development agenda, hence the social intervention of the N-Power initiatives target youth and economic development. The Acting Director applauded the efforts HAFYDOF for introducing entrepreneurship education strides among the youth that will empower them to become job creators and not job seekers, “Your efforts in this regards are highly commendable, i am confident that your commendable initiative in entrepreneurship will attract the support of the individual interms of purchases of your hand made goods, ( buy made in Nigeria products) such as the crafted hand bags, shoes, Head cap, perfumes, etc. And the organisations interested in deepening skills acquisitions and wealth creation.Therefore, we urge you to keep on the good works”. 
Other speakers at the occasion included Dr. Bala Sulaiman of ATBU who presented a paper on ” The need for self-help in Hausa/ Fulani community”. Dr Sulaiman Shuaibu Shinkafi. Executive President of African Youth for conflict Resolution and prevention gave a good will message. 
Earlier, the State Chairman of HAFYDOF Alhaji Almustapha Haji sufi stated that the end of year public lecture to sensitize their members on the importance of self-reliance and community development as part of their Orientation Programme and also to showcase some of their hand made crafts, and present certificates to some members who completed their training in various skills acquisitions training.
