With the forthcoming 2019 General Elections and the need to massively sensitize the people about the Continuous Voter’s Registration Exercise, the Management Team of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Lagos State on Tuesday 6th March, 2018 paid a working visit to the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Francis Babatunde Oke, to get his buying in on the activities of the Agency.  The team was led by the Director, Mr. Waheed Ishola; Deputy Director, Planning, Research and Strategy, Mr. John Emah; Deputy Director, Programmes, Mr. Rapheal Bowoto; Deputy Director, Human Resources, Mrs. Aderonke Jacobs; Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer, Mrs. Abodunrin Dawodu.

Welcoming the NOA Management Team, the chairman noted that the Local Council appreciates the activities of the Agency within the local council area. He eulogised the Agency’s staff for their outstanding performance in information dissemination and requested their support to strengthen his information department. The Chairman while requesting for more of NOA information/educational fliers and hand-bills, promised his administration’s commitment to collaborate, synergise and fully support the National Orientation Agency (NOA), towards carrying out its programmes and activities in the Local Council Area.

Earlier, the NOA State Director, Mr. Waheed Ishola, commended the management of the Local Government for their reception and level of work done so far going to 200 days in office, especially the acquiring of a new property for a more conducive and comfortable work environment. He stressed NOA’s preparedness to assist the Council in propagating its programmes and activites in the grassroot area, because, NOA’s primary duty is citizen’s engagement.

High point of the visit was the presentation of information/education materials and NOA’s newsletter to the Executive Chairman. In attendance were Hon. Monsuru Bolaji, Super Councilor for Health; Hon. (Mrs.) Kehinde Animashanu, Super WAPA; Hon. Tunde Obanubi, Super Councilor for Works; Hon. Rahman Adebiyi, Super Councilor for Youth and Sports, Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer for NOA, Mrs. Kehinde Kaitell amongst others.
