In Benue state as part of his advocacy visits to state directorates of the agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, the Director General of NOA was accorded full state reception by the Benue state governor, who was represented by his deputy, Mr Sam Ode.


The deputy governor led high ranking government officials including Secretary to the state government, commissioners, principal secretary and other aides to the presidential lodge for a meeting with the DG. That meeting discussed a number of issues among which are NOA strategic plans to adopt a National Values Charter for the country; the introduction of nationalism studies into the curriculum of schools and the plan to raise Nigerian cartoon to enable young people understand local cultures and heroes.

The DG was also treated to a state dinner were he was decorated with the anger the Tiv traditional attire and a traditional spear.
