Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Dr. Garba Abari was a special guest at the Launch of Manual by the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The event is part of effort by the IOM and its partners such as NOA, NAPTIP and other relevant agencies/NGOs to improve synergy while fighting Irregular migration.
NOA remains an agency that interacts with citizens on the dangers of Irregular migration which leads to death or deportation of people who indulge in the action.
Nigerians are always advised not to be deceived to engage in Irregular migration rather to seek normal and official migration procedures. Methods adopted by IOM are Community Dialogue and Community Theatre to address increasing and alarming rate of Irregular migration mostly to European countries.
